Common Questions

We've answered the most common ones.

Do I need to be a Christian to attend?

Not at all. Greater Works is a welcoming place for people at every stage of their spiritual journey: believers, seekers, and the simply curious. You are welcome here exactly as you are.

Is food provided?

Yes! Prior to Sunday School classes, we provide a FREE continental breakfast for our members to enjoy.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Our members range from suit-and-tie to jeans and a collared shirt.

How long is the service?

Sunday morning worship typically runs about 90 minutes. Sunday School before service runs about 1 hour.

Do I have to be a member to participate in the choir or any other auxiliaries in the church?

No, you do not have to be a member to participate at all. All you need is a willing heart and a willing spirit to serve the Lord.

Do you have a food pantry?

Yes — we have a thriving Food Pantry that provides food on a monthly basis to anyone in our community who is in need.

Will I be asked to give money?

Offering is a part of our worship and gifts to God, and should be guided by the heart of each individual. However, we do not make any request for anyone to give, but we do allow all who are able to participate.
